CAND
Everything You Want to Know
Founded in 1975, the Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers (CAND) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting trust, professionalism, and ethical business practices in the coin, paper money, precious metals, and collectibles marketplace. Our members include dealers, auction firms, publishers, show organizers, bullion specialists, supply manufacturers, and other professionals serving collectors across Canada and around the world.
Every CAND member agrees to uphold a strict Code of Ethics and is committed to conducting business with honesty, integrity, and transparency. To help protect collectors, CAND provides a formal process for addressing concerns involving member dealers and maintains a performance fund that may offer some compensation in eligible cases when a member fails to meet their obligations.
For collectors, CAND membership is a sign of confidence. For dealers, it is a mark of professionalism and a commitment to the highest standards of the hobby.
